Kirsty graduated from the University of Stirling and started her career in the renewable energy sector as an Environmental Planner. Here, Kirsty played a key role within the planning team contributing to over 15 wind turbine and wind farm projects, including Section 36 submissions to the Scottish Government.
In 2016 Kirsty decided to specialise in noise and vibration, and joined the acoustics team at Jacobs as a Graduate Acoustician. During this time she completed the certificate in environmental noise, post graduate diploma in acoustics and noise control and the Jacobs graduate development programme. Additionally she gained valuable experience by working on various road schemes for clients such as Transport Scotland and played an active role in Round 3 of the Environmental Noise Directive (END).
